Staining Solutions

At S.A.M. Repair, we use primarily Permachink products, and when it comes to stain, we use their latest creation, Ultra-7.
Ultra-7 is a thick, penetrating stain that goes on easy and can protect your logs for decades. Ultra-7 comes in a variety of traditional log home colors, from the deep forest dark of Chestnut to the bright sun-kissed gold of Oak. We always say that you can’t pick a “wrong color” because any stain you choose will bring out the natural beauty of your logs.
Once your logs are saturated with the stain of your choice, we then seal the house with a treated clear coat that not only protects the stain and wood from the elements, but deters bugs and pests as well.
